Heather and Manny
On Sunday after noon Randi had a BBQ. I had to work till about 6. I missed most of the BBQ but Randi set aside some Salmon for me. What a good friend she is! I came barring gifts of fresh strawberries from mom's garden and plenty of mixers to create so delightful summery cocktails! With Joshua in Vegas I was glad to have friends to hang out with. Jonny, Mackenzie and Marcus came over with some broken up cement blocks from his rental to build a nice little fire pit. Manny loves BBQ's cause there is no shortage of food scrap tossed his way. After a fun night of sitting around a camp fire roasting marshmallows and making smores we all turned in. Randi and Scott took the bus, the living room was full of sleeping people so that left Randi's bed for Megan Chris Manny and myself. We all squished in all cozy like. No worries of being cold. I was almost asleep when the first snore echoed in to the night. Before I knew it I had a symphony of snoring to lull me to sleep. Even Manny who does not usually snore joined in! By some miracle I managed to get some sleep. The next morning Megan, Chris and I cleaned up the kitchen, and around the camp fire before Randi and Scott woke up. Even Manny seamed to be helping. He pulled petrified hot dogs out of the camp fire and search the ground for any food that we missed. What a good dog... We decided that we needed breakfast and coffee so we hopped in Chris' jeep and got enough food to feed an army. Megan made biscuits and gravy and I made scrambled eggs and set the table out on the deck in the sunshine. we had a wonderful breakfast together. The perfect beginning to our Monday!

Hwy 99 Blues Club
The Last time Author Unknown played at the Oxford Andrew the drummer invited Megan and I to the Hwy 99 Blues club on Monday night. We said we would come check it out. What an awesome place! We fell in love! Great band check, great atmosphere check, great happy hour food check, great drink specials check, great dancers check, not on a weekend priceless! That never happens! We quickly made Friends with the bartender who calls him self McLovin. Chris showed up along with Jillian and Nathan! The place was full of people we knew from the west coast swing dance community! I don't really know of a better way to spend a Monday night!

Chelan
Joshua is so excited about this picture....
Randi
Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory... Yummmm
Nate and Katie called us Sunday night and asked if we would want to come to Chelan and hang out for a couple days. And of course we said hells to the yeah! We had never been invited to his parents house in Chelan. This is a big deal! We had arrived it seamed. So we made plans to leave right after I got off work. Joshua asked if Randi could come too and just like that she was in like Flin. I don't know how she does it but I like it. So the three of us left around 10:30ish and started our long drive. We finally pulled in some time around 1 or 2am Nate was asleep on the couch. Randi and I were so hungry we crept in and made a sandwich with what ever we could find in the fridge. Nate finally woke up and showed us where we were sleeping and we all crashed. The next morning we packed a cooler with beer and grabbed our swimsuits, for a nice day in the sun by the lake. Us girls soaked up the sun while Joshua and Nate played tennis. Then we all went for a swim. We were starving after our short swim so the boys went to town to get burgers and fixin's for lunch. We spent another hour or so in the sun before we packed up and made our way back to the house to get ready for a little wine tasting. The winery was so wonderful. I loved the whole experience. The atmosphere was so wonderful. Wine tasting was by far my favorite part of the weekend. Randi bought us all a glass of wine and an appetizer and we sat in a small courtyard and sipped our wine and enjoyed each other's company and the perfect weather. The next day we went to Leavenworth and the girls took Saloon girl pictures and then we had dinner at Gustave's and then Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for desert!
