I love Boats
Megan invited me to join her and her family in Seattle. Her sister Tessa and Tessa's boy friend Gabe were visiting from Arizona. Megan's cousin Emily joined us too. Gabe had never been to Seattle before. We met at the Locks in Ballard. I love the locks. Mainly because I love boats. We saw a bunch of Salmon and a big Sea lion! We were getting hungry and fish and chips Ivers sounded amazing. We had a pleasant lunch by the water in the Sunshine. We then made our way to Pike Place. Of course we stopped by the fish throwers, shared some mini donuts and admired all the fresh vegetables and flowers. Megan and I planned on staying in Seattle and going dancing at Hwy 99 Blues Club so we said our good byes parted ways. We still had a few hours to kill so we decided to have a picnic at Gas Works park, watch the sun set and then head to 99. We found pretty much every thing we needed to have a picnic at Pike place. We got fantastic bread, really really good cheese thin sliced salami and Raspberry beer. It was quite a feast. The sunset at Gas Works was beautiful! It was a perfect Date day. That's what we do. Guys rarely take us on dates like this so us girls take each other on amazing dates. We have to otherwise it will never happen. I think it kinda works out for the guys too. Cause they don't have to do these painful things like have an amazing picnic and watch the sun set at Gas Works park. I don't really understand what exactly is so painful about it but it just is.
