but he just couldn't get the right words out!
Kemo! Sweetest dog ever!

Katie and Andrew invited a few friends over for game night. Joshua made his famous margaritas and there was plenty of yummy snacks to munch on. The game was pictionary. Katie and Joshua are both quite competitive so we divided the guys and the girl in two teams. Now I am not really what you call a game player. I know nothing about pop culture. Typically I am completely lost when it comes down to questions on a card. Some how I lucked out. I had so much fun! Often I just feel really stupid when I play games but I seamed to dodge it this time. It came down to the wire. It was in the wee hours of morning, the boys and girls were neck and neck and we were stuck in a tire breaker situation. The girls finally won and the boys were quite upset over the whole ordeal. We crashed after a few more hours of fun and laughter. Katie set us up on her couches and we drifted off to dreaming of pourly drawn pictures of girls parts and elephant tusks...

Jillian and Nathan work for the same company. Only a hand full of people they work with know that they have been dating for a little over a year. So for their Christmas party in February ( I guess they were a little busy in December) Joshua and I went as their dates. This is not the first date Nathan and I have been on. Our first Date was at Katie's wedding. Jillian had graciously loaned out Nathan because Joshua was in Chelan for Nate's Bachelor party. But it was only right because Jillian had borrowed Joshua for a wedding a couple years ago. I guess you could say she owed me. Jillian had asked Joshua to help her do a demo of west coast swing for her coworkers. They were a hit! The party was at the Fox bar and grill in down town Seattle. I had never been there before. It was a nice place. There was food, poker and Karaoke.

I love spending time with my man!

Heather and Janell we were meant to be friends.

I could have taken a hundred pictures of the sunset tonight.
It was so beautiful.

David and Janell, our new friends from the DC area joined us at Pike Place market today after church. It was a beautiful sunny Sunday after noon, perfect for taking a stroll through the Pike place. We stopped at Cutters and ordered off the happy hour menu. David and Janell are big fans of sushi. I wish I could get over my weird texture issues. I tried Sushi again and it was all I could do to not throw up in my mouth. I wish I liked it cause super cool people eat sushi. It's totally hip and trendy! After lunch we checked out the gum and penny wall and then enjoyed the sunset. It was so pretty, I didn't want to leave but we had a Seattle swing club dance to go to. We hugged our friends good bye and rushed off to the dance. It always amazes me how many different leads there are in the WCS community. No one feels the same as any one else. There are finger leaders, tug of war leaders, guys that think it's hot to trail a finger down a girls arm, guys that lead with one arm. Then there are the ones that wont look at the girl or the ones that are to good at dancing to actually dance with you. (They dance with them selves it really doesn't matter if your there or not. I don't know why they even ask....) So you can imagine how amazing it is when you get a guy who pays attention to the girl he is dancing with, he invites her to dance with him, connects to his partner, gently leads... Oh man it's good. I think this is why Joshua is so popular at dances. Jay joins him in popularity. I on the other hand have to wait my turn. So what does that say about my dancing? What kind of partner am I? After the dance we went over to Joshua's dad's place and enjoyed a snack and a nice chat with Jim and Bonnie. Bonnie had this fabulous herb mixture called lavandula. she mixed it in with goat cheese and we ate it with rice crackers. It was seriously addicting. Jim invited us out for a cigar on the patio. He had gotten a few of my favorite cigars. Acid Blondie's. They have this very subtle sweet spicy flavor. and they are petite so it doesn't take an hour to smoke them. I just don't have that much time in me. Joshua tries to teach me to look cool when I smoke cigars. I blow the smoke out immediately. He said I would look way cooler if I blew the smoke out slow. Once I was attempting to puff on a cigar when some one made me laugh and I inhaled the smoke. I thought I was seriously going to die. So far so good. I have managed to look a little cooler when I smoke with out choking.

Beautiful Tamra

Tamra threw James a killer birthday party and invited all his dancer friends to come out and play. I love James and Tamra. They are such warm and inviting people they have two little girls that are so beautiful and a really great house for dancing. Their house is super old with this gorgeous hard wood floor. The kind that dancers eat up! The party went till about midnight or so. Time flies when all your favorite people to dance with are out!James and Tamra stole the room with a seriously hot dance. All we could do was watch. They are both really amazing dancers. I am so happy they moved to Seattle. It's so great to have them in our dance community.
