I love spending time with my man!
Heather and Janell we were meant to be friends.
I could have taken a hundred pictures of the sunset tonight.
It was so beautiful.
David and Janell, our new friends from the DC area joined us at Pike Place market today after church. It was a beautiful sunny Sunday after noon, perfect for taking a stroll through the Pike place. We stopped at Cutters and ordered off the happy hour menu. David and Janell are big fans of sushi. I wish I could get over my weird texture issues. I tried Sushi again and it was all I could do to not throw up in my mouth. I wish I liked it cause super cool people eat sushi. It's totally hip and trendy! After lunch we checked out the gum and penny wall and then enjoyed the sunset. It was so pretty, I didn't want to leave but we had a Seattle swing club dance to go to. We hugged our friends good bye and rushed off to the dance. It always amazes me how many different leads there are in the WCS community. No one feels the same as any one else. There are finger leaders, tug of war leaders, guys that think it's hot to trail a finger down a girls arm, guys that lead with one arm. Then there are the ones that wont look at the girl or the ones that are to good at dancing to actually dance with you. (They dance with them selves it really doesn't matter if your there or not. I don't know why they even ask....) So you can imagine how amazing it is when you get a guy who pays attention to the girl he is dancing with, he invites her to dance with him, connects to his partner, gently leads... Oh man it's good. I think this is why Joshua is so popular at dances. Jay joins him in popularity. I on the other hand have to wait my turn. So what does that say about my dancing? What kind of partner am I? After the dance we went over to Joshua's dad's place and enjoyed a snack and a nice chat with Jim and Bonnie. Bonnie had this fabulous herb mixture called lavandula. she mixed it in with goat cheese and we ate it with rice crackers. It was seriously addicting. Jim invited us out for a cigar on the patio. He had gotten a few of my favorite cigars. Acid Blondie's. They have this very subtle sweet spicy flavor. and they are petite so it doesn't take an hour to smoke them. I just don't have that much time in me. Joshua tries to teach me to look cool when I smoke cigars. I blow the smoke out immediately. He said I would look way cooler if I blew the smoke out slow. Once I was attempting to puff on a cigar when some one made me laugh and I inhaled the smoke. I thought I was seriously going to die. So far so good. I have managed to look a little cooler when I smoke with out choking.
