While we were visiting we went to Veterans Park to celebrate all the birthdays in the last

4 Months. I was pretty impressed with the park. Probably the nicest park I have been to in Boise. We had a nice little picnic and awesome cake made by Emily. It was really cute. The kids were very excited about it as they sat starring at it in anticipation, claiming the particular animal they wanted on their piece. Emily is so creative. I am always impressed with Aunt skills. I some how didn't get that set. After lunch and cake we moved our spread of chairs and coolers to the river. The kids had a great time dragging the dogs into the water to cool off from the 90 degree heat. Justin and Deborah couldn't wait to get their poles in the water. I was content to photograph our family and soak as much sun up as possible. It feels so good on my bones. Joshua and I took Manny for a walk giving him a break from the water and to check out the rest of the park. There were tons of trails and a fun looking rope swing that was swarming with kids. The sun was going down so it was time to pack up and go home. Joshua and I were planning on meeting Deborah down town fro a couple beers before we hit the road home.
