Heather, Manny, Joshua & Koda I decided that we needed to throw Randi a birthday party and we thought an Ugly Sweater party would be appropriate this time of year. Ice skating would definitely need to be on the agenda and the open mic night at the Ox would be the perfect ending. Joshua and I went to Good Will outlet on Monday but didn't find any ugly sweaters. It's like they were all picked over or something all the REALLY ugly ones were gone. So Tuesday we went to the Saint Vincent DePaul in Monroe and found a nice selection. I purchased one for Shawn, Joshua and my self. We then rushed home to pick up Shawn and put on our ridiculous sweaters and then took off to pick up Ross. We had a shot at the Oxford and then were on our way to the Ice rink in Bellevue. There was a huge line that didn't seam to move. But every one that came up behind us had an excuse of why they should be able to move ahead of us. Joshua decided that he was going to need his snowboarding helmet because he was going to be doing very dangerous pirouettes when and if we ever got on the ice. He looked very special with his helmet and ugly sweater. We finally got on the ice.... Or more like slush. This was the worst ice I have ever seen. The skates were pretty bad too. It was basically impossible to skate. Luckily I had another shot of Rumplemintz to help with the multiple crash and burns on the ice/slush. I saw those little birds that fly around your head a few times. When we had all had enough we took our skates off and headed for the Oxford. Megan had promised us home made freshly baked cookies. We met Mom and Dad for a much needed dinner. I hadn't realized it but I didn't have time to eat all day. It was now 10 pm and I was in desperate need of food. The Oxford has a wonderful open Mic night. Joshua and I decided it was a good time to dance, but soon Glory one of my most favorite old ladies in the world cut in on Joshua and I, so I grabbed Jay. Near the end of the song Joshua some how got away from Glory and cut in on me with Jay. Let me just say this is twice in ine song that some one cut in on me and left me with no partner. They struggled with who was going to lead and follow. Joshua went in for the big dip and Jay wasn't having it. They ended up in a big pile on the dance floor with Glory sitting on top. My mom will burst into laughter if you even mention the situation. It was ridiculously funny. I wish I had a picture of Glory sitting on top of those boys. A video would have been even better. She is just to funny.
